ABOUT THE SUMMIT
Welcome to the official website of The Gateway Business Summit 2014.
We are an entirely student-run conference held at the University of St Andrews that aims to provide a platform for inspirational speakers to share their insights and expertise with talented university students.
This years Summit takes place on the weekend 11th-13th March 2014, and will include talks from world-renowned figures, educational workshops and a case competition that cover a range of current global phenomena. We indeed aim to address issues that extend beyond general business and economics-based topics, including psychology, finance, philosophy, development and international relations.
Established in 2008, we have hosted four very successful conferences in the past. We have previously welcome such distinguished speakers as Kevin Roberts (CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi), Rory Sutherland (Advertising Guru of Ogilvy) and Michelle Norse (CEO of Salvatore Ferragamo). Previous conferences have been restricted to University of St Andrews students only, however we are delighted to announce that students from all universities are welcome and encouraged this year.
The Summit is not just a conference, and includes a large networking dinner held on the Saturday night of the weekend. The weekend offers a chance to meet and socialize with a dynamic group of like-minded students as well as our world-renowned and inspirational speakers.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
